IDoc status changed to 30 in IDoc XML

Hi,

I am working on an interface where while pushing an IDoc for R3 it's status is 03. However, when I am viewing the source IDoc XML in PI the status is 30.

I am not sure why the status is changed to 30 if the IDoc in R3 displays status as 03.

Status 30 means that IDOC was generated correctly and is ready for transmission but has not been sent out.

Check the entry made in WE20 - partner profile for this IDOC type.

In the Outbound Options details in WE20, the option "Collect IDOCs" may have been selected.

If the IDOC needs to br transferred and be in status 03 immediately..choose the option "Transfer IDoc immed."

Run the report RSEOUT00 to transfer all idocs in status 30

What you see in payload in PI is never the final status of Idoc. It is the last status when the Idoc was sent to PI. After this send, the status is changed at R3 side to 03 but the Idoc is already sent with the last status 30 and it won't be updated in the PI payload again, in my opinion.

Got it. The status changes from 42 to 01 to 30 to 03 in R3.
