Dump while supplying Reason for Rejection in sales order

Hi Experts,

when I am suppling the Reason for Rejection ("Cancelled") for a line item in existing Sales Order, the sales order is going to dump,this is the case with production system where as the same is working fine with testing system,ofcourse I am using different sales order numbers for both the cases....what may be the reason...

Please suggest.

KIndly check the below

Any inconsistencies happened for the order in the tables VBAK 7 VBAP

check the order quantity , weight ,volume in the sales order after putting the reson for rejection before saving

if they shows in negative then that could be the problem for Dump

Hi Mmmady ,

Generally it happnes when there are lots of item in the sales order and when you put the reason of rejection in some item and save it. So system start processing and when it exceed more then 1000 sec, it will goes for a time out dump.

Follow this process,

Open your order, put the reson of rejection in item and save it

Simultaniously open another screen --> T-code SM51 --> Double click at your server --> You will see that one line with your id and showing time ---> Go to Program/Mode ---> Program ---> Debugging

In your Order screen, debugger screen will open.

When you will found that time is going to more then 600 sec or 700 sec in your SM51 screen.

Go to your order screen press F8.

Go back to SM51 screen and see the time should be reset as 1 or 3 sec.

continue this process untill your order has been saved.

No its not taking any time ....as soon as i press the save button its throwing dump,and the same order is there in test system with same number of items but its not throwing any error, the dump is occurring only in production system,and dump says "Duplicate owners : contact LO-VC development" does it have any relation with dump...and for information, the line items item category is "ZTAC" (make to order) for which its throwing the dump,but the same line item with same order with same material is working fine with testing system,please suggst...

Goto the T.Code ST22 and check the error message here.

Please ask your ABAPer to check this.
