Product category hierarchies.

Hi Gurus,

I've a question on product hierarchies in SRM 7.0. I see that in transaction comm_hierarchy i can go and create local product categories and can make hierarchies out of them with parent child relationship. I see that these hierarchies are visible when we do the search for product categories.

Now the question is there a way I can achieve product category hierarchies when I replicate material groups from ECC. Our backend system would be ECC 6.0 with EHP4.

Please let me know if this would be possible. This would be of great help.

You mean to say "product category hierarchies" from R/3 to SRM?

Do you mean It is possible to maintain material groups as hierarchies in ECC. Can i have parent-child relationships for material groups in ECC. And when I replicate them would they come over to SRM.

I am sure using Material Groups you cannot have parent and child relationship in SRM.
