Problem at the PGI

HI GURUS

I have problem in at the time of pgi

Doc date : 07.02.2010 [tryed on 20.02.2010

posting date:- 07.02.2010

planned gl date :18.02.2010

Error

Posting only possible in periods 2010/01 and 2009/12 in company code 1000

Dignosis

The posting period date entered is not within one of the permitted posting period (currenl period/Previous Period)

This can be due to one of the two reasons

1. the correct current period has not been set in the system.

2. you have entered a wrong date in the field "posting date"

Procedure

Inform your admin that the "Period Shifting "(Period-End closing) process has not yet nbeen complited.

What i need to do i am not geting where i do search period shifting

Check MM & FI Periods were open for current month.

Hi,

Currently your period is open uptill January only.

And you are trying to post the document in February.

That why system is giving error for the posting period.

Go to MMPV and extend your period to February and then try to do PGI.

Please use OBY6, give company code take detail and see Variaint.

and then go to OB52

change

2010 02 in all lines for your variant that you got from OBY6 and try your PGI . hope this will help

Hi

Check the OB29 T Code Calender Year Check box Activated for your Fiscal year Variant (eg K4 or V3)

Check OMSY T Code As Company Code, Name,Year 2010, Period 02,Fy Year 2010, MP 01, FY 2009,LM 12, ABAP Check box Active

Hi,

After doing above all my main error is solved but new error is coming that in.

Period 002/2010 is not open for A/C type M & G/L 310000

Diagnosis

Period 002 of fiscal year 2010 does not exist in table tool/B either in period 1 or in period 2 of a table entry with recoard type "0". the selected company code the account type period is therefore not open.

Procedure:

Check table ToolB for recoard type "0" the selected company code, account type M and G/L account 310000. If required,Make sure that an entry is made in the table or an interval is changed.

where to do i did't get can any one explain.

Hi,

It will be better if you consult your FI guy to change these setting.

This setting can be changed OB52.

Over here you have to changed the setting of account type M with respect to your Variant.

If you know your combination then you can make the changes over here.

Other wise consult your FI guy for this particular setting.

Specify from company Code

to Company Code

Period 12

Fical Year 2009

Press F8

Press Esc

Change period 01

Fical Year 2010

Press F8

ESC

Change period 02

Fical Year 2010

Press F8

ESC

Here System May not allow to post in Future Date

first go to MMRV and check which period is open this will display the period if you have January as open then go to MMPV and open the period .

hope this clears the doubt.

Hi,

Your system is giving error that you can post the document from 12/2009 to 01/2010.

But you are trying to do PGI in 02/2010 which is outside the limit of posting date.

For that purpose you have to extend your period to 02/2010 in MMPV.

When you extend to February then you will be able to do the PGI.
