A milestone is linked with a date in the billing plan. When the milestone is reached, the actual date of the milestone is copied into the billing plan. Through this billing plan invoice is raised to the customer.
It is proposed to link the customer billing process in SD (Sales and Distribution) module with project progress using the Milestone Billing process, wherein confirmation of the milestones in the project automatically triggers a billing process in SD
