Screen Default

Hi,

In Sales order, Sales Tab, we have the fields material number, quantity , plant, etc...

I would like to re-arrange the column fields, and make it a default everytime the Order is created/changed/displayed.

How do we do this?

For example, we want the quantity, plant and Sloc and batch number field/column, always beside each other..

In screen variant, we can only define if the field is hidden or mandatory etc?

Maintain table settings, which will appear on top right side in item line. ( place the cursor, description will be shown as "Configuration")

Drag the field & drop as per the sequence you want to make , now create variant & save. make this variant as default settings.

then whenever you create sales order , columns will appear accordingly in particular tab.

Thank you. I was able to make a variant. Where should I indicate that it is going to be the default variant? Can we set it as variant per Order Type regardless of the user?

There are 2 views in Table settings-

Choose variants:-

- Current settings & standard Settigns

Maintian variants:-

- Variant & Use as standard setting.

here, enter variant in "standard settings" field & tick mark & save.

now create order & check

I am also facing similar issue...were you able to default the variant for all users?
