Hello Ganimede,

i have seen a similiar behavior on our BW system during the unicode conversion.

Please perform the following steps to identify / check the ABAP DDIC inconsistency:

1) Run transaction SE11 -> Enter the names of the tables "/BIC/E*"

2) Run transaction SE14 -> Enter the names of the tables "/BIC/E*"

or you can use the following report to check the inconsistency:

http://rapidshare.com/files/347140030/ZCHK_NTDDDB.txt.html

You can cleanup this inconsistency with the FM DD_NAMETAB_DELETE.

Regards

Stefan

Hi,

for D /BI0/01* you are right (note Note 449891 - Temporary database objects in BW 3.x) but for D /BIC/E100* it's so strange.

This can happen if the BW system was not stopped during the export. At the time R3ldctl run was making a list of all tables those tables existed. Later those tables were deleted (load jobs, cube compressions...) and now the export doesn't find them.

The only way of avoiding such problems is to shutdown the system during the export time.
