ISU Material Type not existing

Hi,

I am want to create a material in ISU of Material Type: ISU Device/Material.

If I go to transaction : MM01

Industry Sector : "Utilties Industry"

Material Type: "ISU Device/Material"

I am not able to find "ISU Device/Material" under this.

Please can anyone help me out on this

I doubt that the word ISU Device/Material is standard.

In our system we use material type ISUM - Devices in Utilities.

If it is accidentally delete by anyone, you should copy it from other client that it is still exist.

You can go to transaction SPRO to configure new material type.

Path: Logistics - General->Material Master->Basic Settings->Material Types->Define Attributes of Material Types

Go to the below path and define your material type there.

Hope this may solve your problem.

Also find the below steps to create device category in ISU

1.Create the ISU reference material in the MM.

2.Assign the reference material in the configuration of the Device Category

Path -

Spro->saputilities->device management----->technology--->Device category----->Define help table for the specification of the reference material

3.After assigning the refernce material,create the device category through EG01.

4.If no material exists for the device category specified, the Create MM Material dialog box appears.

5.The material is created in MM in the background.
