value proposition of SRM MDM compared to CCM?

Dear All,

I am albeit new to SRM. I Would like to have an idea what is the advantages/benefits that SRM MDM catalog offers as compared to CCM2.0? Since a customer can still continue with CCM with SRM 7.0, what value proposition of MDM catalog will make him to think to change to MDM catalog?
