Scales in Rebates not getting calculated properly

Dear Gurus,

I have maintained scales in Rebates.

But while creating sales order and invoice, scales are not getting calculated.

Scale basis C Quantity scale

Check value None

Scale type can be maintained in con

Qty Rs

0 2.00-

10 5.00-

20 10.00-

I have created sales order and invoice with 12 tonnes qty. Then it should calculate 12*5=60 Rs.

But it is calculating 12*2=24 Rs only so accrualsl posting is happening only for 24Rs.

Whatever the quantity is, but it is calculating with Rs.2 only.

Pl advise where I am doing wrong.

Hi Sreehari,

There is no scale for accruals so the value you indicated in the rebate condition for accrual is the value used.

This is a limitation of the standard system.

There is a release independent note that explains the behaviour.

Read OSS Note 1002874 - Rebate: Determination of condition rate based on scale.

What SAP version you are with?

Per SAP, it looks scale based condition rate is not possible with earlier version and only from ECC 6.0 it can be activated.
