EHS User exist for Specification Identifiers

Hi Experts,

If anybody has worked with EHS User Exits. My requirement is below.

Whenever a particular identifier is added to a substance in EHS (CG02 transaction), 2 different identifiers need to be added up along with it. This is to be done online, so need an User-Exit for this. Please revert back asap, if anyone knows the User-exits for this purpose.

There is an user exit in C1F2_SUBSTANCES_SAVE_TO_DB. will it suffice my requirement?

Thanks,

Ipsita

Hello

you have placed the nearly same question here: .

Additionally to what has been explained there please take a look here:

You will find some"potential answers to do the job.

There is no "direct" user exit available. There a lot of "indirect" exits or other options. Additionally to what has been explained in both answer this is the next option:

If you use cg02 you can prepare by SAP EH&S standard a nuber of user exsists which can be used if you have created a hitlist. You could use them to do what you have requested. This will not work during "save" action of the identifier you have just entered. You have to go back to the hitlist.

With best regards

C.B.

PS: may be take a llk in addition to this exit: C1F20001 EHS: Saving Additional Data in the Database

Take a look in customizing and online SAP help etc. May assumption would be that you could use the exit in C1F2_SUBSTANCES_SAVE_TO_DB (with pros and cons becuase this is a "general" function module and not related to identifiers only)).
