Hi,
What is the exact meaning of compund fields?
the definition days " you can create a compund source field for mapping to a destination lookup field that has multiple display fields".
What does "display field" mean?
can anyone give a example for the above please.
Thanks,
Vignesh

Hello Vignesh
For example:
LUT has 3 fields(Field1,Field2,Field3)
when you set display field to "yes" for all
in Data Manager
when you select that LUT from main table
you seeing list of LUT values in next format
Field1;Field2;Field3
if you set display field to "yes" only for Field1 and Field 3
in Data Manager when you select that LUT from main table
you seeing list of LUT values in next format:
Field1;Field3

Hi,
Compound field is mainly created for importing data in a lookup qualified field of main table.
Qualified tables can have more than 1 Non Qualifier fields as display field, and then in to import data into this lookup qualified field of main table you have to create compound field in import manager.
