Quanity Contract Check

Dear All,

I would like to Block the creation of a Release order if the Quantity in the contract is exceeded .

What should i do in the setting for this ?

Hi

Are you able to Create a sales Order with ref. to Contract for a quantity greater than Contract??

Since there is an standard check V1 501 is used as error message so that you can not create an Order for more than the Contract Quamtity. If it is happening in your case, then please check the copy control VTAA for your contract and Order and see whether the Update document flow is maintained or not at Item level and pos./neg. quantity should be "+".

Hi

I am able create release order w.r.t to a contract beyond Contract Qty.

I have maintained the Update document flow and pos./neg. quantity "+" in the copy control at item level

The Std Copy Req is 301 but when i changed as per advice to 501 ,we are not able to change the Qty in the release order

Hi Ajithk,

Ask your ABAPer to create the routine as per your requirement and assign it to your Copying requirements in VTAA.
