Hi all,
I am new to apo demand planning area? when i use the option load in the planning books it loads from the planning area?
So how the data is stored in the planning area and where i can see the data in been stored in the planning are ?
thanks
pooja
Hi Pooja,
The data is stored in the live cache, live cache data is not visible as it is like kind of a memory. If you want to view the data you can execute few function modules in SM37 to view the data (as this BAPI extracts the data from livecache).
BAPI_PBSRVAPS_CHANGEKEYFIGVAL2 or BAPI_PBSRVAPS_GETDETAIL2
Acceval - Please correct me if I'm wrong, under RSA1 or MPOS, we could able to view only CVC's (char combinations) not the entire Planning Area data.
Thanks

Hi Sathish,
You are correct only CVCs can be viewed.
If I am not wrong some of the data can be viewed in the back up cube
Thanks

Hi Pooja,
The Planning area data is stored in the 'live cache' time series or order series depending upon wheather it is DP or SNP planning area
You can check this in live cache transactions /SAPAPO/OM*
Also there is this infocube for the DP planning area under the unassigned node in RSA1.
Look for the infocube with the same technical name as the planning object structure.
In this infocube you can see all the planing area data
Hope this helps
