Table RSPCO and Object Number

When I look at the project table RPSCO I see duplicate entries for nearly all WBS elements. The primary entries for WBS are correctly labeled in the Object Number field, for example PR0000016, but there are duplicate entries labeled V2RELEASED 0000016. Can anyone tell me what is the purpose is behind these duplicate WBS entries?

Hi,

The reason is that you are using a Version Profile(OPTS) In which system status I0002 (Version at release is customized) so every time you release a project automatically a project version will be created. Similarly you can create version at the time of Budgeting I0067,Tech I0045 ,Closed I0046.

entries laveled V2RELEASED...correspond to an automatic status dependent version created at the time of releasing your project.

Please check your settings under OPTS transaction
