We have connected SAP to IBM's P8 using early archiving. We are successfully sending DOCS, XLS, TIF, etc. all to the same folder in the P8 repository. In SAP they are attached to our invoices.
Because of the success, another group of end users would like to adopt the same functionality.
Question:
In order to have their documents show up in a new folder location in P8, do I need to create a different content repository in OAC0 and OAC3 to accomplish this?
I've looked through the code and I don't see anyway that without it P8 would be able to determine from the GUID which folder I want the document to end up in. But I wanted to check SDN first.
Thanks,
Anthony
Hello Antony,
It is not possible to store documents in same content reposioty that requires to map for different file directory.
Yes, you have to create New Document type and new content repository and assign it for object type, link table. You can do it with transaction OAC0 for creating content repository, OAC3 for assignments.

Ajay
