DBMON performance on V6R1

Hi All,

We had to turn our DBMON off a few years ago due to performance issues seen on V5R3 of the OS. Now we're on V6R1 we are thinking of turning it back on. Does anyone know of any issues running the DBMON on V6R1 on a large database?

Is there anything that the SAP notes don't mention that we should be aware of??

Hi Dan,

I'd recommend that you take a look at [SAP note 1083218|http://service.sap.com/~IRON/FM/011000358700000431401997E/01083218], which describes the implementation of the new DB-Monitoring solution using the IBM Plan Cache instead of the memory based DB-Monitor.
