Date profile within Service Desk

Dear Experts,

Within an Support Message (SLFN) of the Service Desk there are by default two date fields, namely 'Start customer requirements', and 'End customer requirements'. I've changed the date profile to blank the 'end customer requirements', this way the date is not filled out automatically. This works.

However, when I now create a Support Message, an error is shown in the application log: 'Requested end date must be later than requested start date'. Apparently there is a condition which is verified.

I have no clue where to look for this condition. Can't find it in the date rule or date profile.

Can somebody help me out of give me a hint?

Hi,

Pls. do not chage the standard date profile as the linked as the end date = Start date +Duration (Which is in the XML coding) hence pls. do not delete the start date of the notification. That is the reson why this error is coming.

If you still have the doubts pls. revert back

I solved the problem, by assigning the value 31.12.9999 by default to my date-field.
