Hi All,
We are facing a error "PPM/PDS not maintained for product xxx at location xxx,model 000" when trying to create Planned orders for the location product combinations.
I checked the PDS for the location product and the validity period is perfectly fine.Checked for the active version as well.The product and location is assigned to active model 000 only.
Can u please provide your thoughts or workaround so that we can resolve this issue.

Hi Bishwajit,
Unfortunately this forum does not contain option for attaching screenshots.
I would suggest after you enter into transaction /sapapo/res01,
do not give model name as 000 and do not tick on model indpedent
selection, enter the resource and location, you could see the
assignment to active model only in change mode. (F5 key)
For PDS, you cannot see the assignment to active model but if you could able
to view the PDS component using the transction which I have mentioned
earlier, it means it has been assigned to active model.

There is no option for activation of PDS I will suggest following.
Chek comparision of PDS and Bom routing with transaction- /SAPAPO/RTO_ORD_COMP.
Check In CFM5 whether header, components, resources and PDS is in active integration model.
Plan explosion feild in PPDS tab of product master for header is set to 5.
I will suggest to tri running initial supply to PDS integration model with RIMODINI.

In case of PDS if you go to Tcode /SAPAPO/CURTO_SIMU in intial screen you need to enter planning version.
Planning version is linked to model you can check this in tcode- /SAPAPO/MVM.

Hi,
Go to transaction /SAPAPO/SCC03. enter product location or planno go inside PPM at header where name of plan comes above that are different buttons there is button of model assignment beside text maintainance button.
If you are CIFing PPM from ECC/R/3 it will be automaticaly assigned to active version.

If PDS is assigned to active model, when you run the trnsaction
/SAPAPO/CURTO_SIMU, you could able to display it
For resources check under transaction /sapapo/res01
In R/3 system, use CFM5 transaction to check whether
active models are created or not like

Please check
1) the PDS is assigned to active model 000
2) Check the components in the pds are maintained and are having
active model in apo
3) check all the resources in the PDS are assigned to model
4) check the order creation field in material master (PPDS tab) is
maintained with PDS

Hi,
Pls check the min and max lot size in the PDS and the order qty of the pland order. If the order qty doesnt falls within the min and max, you tend to get this error.
