Hello SCM experts,
I have made a necessary configuration for demand planning in APO 4.1 system. The forecast key figure is not editable in planning book. When I run univariate forecast interactively, the forecast values get saved.
However, when I run forecasting in background using same forecast profile, the forecast is executed but the values are not saved in forecast key figure. The background job finishes successfuly, but the forecast values are not saved in forecast KF.Kindly provide some help to resolve this issue so that forecasting run in DP mass processing also saves forecast values.
Thanks in advance,
Deepa
Hi Deepa,
Please check on the following
1) Whether the planning book is not locked (sm12)
2) Check the logs created in background job for any errors
3) Check the planning book is initialised before the job

Hi Deepa,
Assuming you are using 9ADFCST for forecasting, check below points.
Check the forecast profile for the correct history and forecast key figure
See the job log im SM37 for details.
Probebly this happens when you have not chosen the correct forecasting model.

Hi Deepa,
Pls check :
1. Under Master fcst profile , Forecast Key figure , you have specified the correct KF where the generated stat fcst would get saved
2.Univariate profile, read historical data,Key figure has the correct historical data key figure specified( corrected sales history in most of the cases)
Thanks,Bopanna
