Disable export/import options in ESR and ID

Hi,

We have a requirement to ensure all developers only use transports to move objects from Dev to QA etc.

Therefore we wish to disable the export/import option in the ESR and ID so it cannot be used at all to bypass the transport system.

Anyone know what authorisation controls the visibility of these options ?

Import disabled in QA anyway so not an issue

If you are talking about file import export especially using local system, the I too agreet o you there should be some way to disable this. This is a potential source of danger even in Development environment.

I do not know of a way to do it, but would expect some way to be there to do this.

There may not be an option to do so i.e. to disable the export option and at the same time keep the Transport option available.
