Dear All,

Our trasnport is hung and when I saw backgroung RDDIMPDP job I found that it has stopped happening since morning.

I tried executing it manually via client 000 and and user DDIC: I get a message Header P: 13004300 is still running.

I tried running RDDNEWPP and it says that it is succesfully scheduled. But actually it is not starting RDDIMPDP again.

Request you to please help me as today we have a golive and everything is stuck

Regards,

PG

You can run RDDNEWPP report , a pop up will appear say 'yes' . this will give priority to background jobs.

And you can run the step which is stuck manually,

support its P step , you have to run RDDMNTAB report in TA-> se38.

I hope this may help you.

Hi

RDDIMPD is an event driven program, when ever an event is triggered this program is called. the possible reasons for tp hung is

1) file system might be full, check your file system. check saparch.

2) check STMS > Import overview > [SID] > Import monitor > right click on the TR and show details. for more information.

3) Go to "import queue" and Go To > tp system log.

Steps to follow.

1) Kill the TP program.

2) check logs and delete the log file (better rename to .old file).

3) delete the TR from Import queue and add it again to the queue.

4) start the import with will checking first 3 options and in background mode.

Hope this fill fix, your issue.

Hi

Sometimes transport request in hang due to entries in TRBAT and TRJOB tables

Go to the import monitor in STMS and check the status from there you can cancel the import and then try to resume your transports.
