Create Asset

Hi All,

In SRM 7.0, in the account assigment category when i was trying to create a asset , i am not able to find the CREATE ASSET MASTER button in the Shopping cart. Do any how is there any settings in SPRO or any other settings in ORG structure?

Any can any one say what is the authorization we should give to the user? as the user with which i am trying to create has

SAP_ALL.

Hello,

You will be able to view this button when you provide the user with the necessary role. Please try giving the test user the purchaser role. I have tested this in my test systems and with the standard employee role, the button is not visible, however when I used a user with the purchasing role the system displayed the button.

First thing you need to define user attribute - Account assignment category and asset class .

Then there is a specific authorization object( not remembered) needs to be assigned to the userid to able to create asset master.
