Gurus,

I have created the MIC thro LSMW.All the entries are in the table,but when i try to see thro transaction qs23,it is giving a msg

No validity period was selected for master inspection charac. even though when i enter the same validity period given in LSMW

The issue can be related to the number range. Have you maintained number ranges for mic in config

This may be case of "entering data in Upper or Lower case " as you said

In QS23 enter the same validity period & execute the t code.

Or check in QS24

Hi,

When i press f4 i am able to see the MIC ,but when i select it,it is picking the date & version automatically.But the msg given is

Master inspection characteristic xxxx plant 1 has not been created,though i have given as released in LSMW & also tried with created also,SAME MSG
