Factory Calendar not working for holidays.

Hi Experts,

In my factory holiday calendar 1st-5th of X month are set as holiday. I have assigned this calendar to my plant.

When I process a sales order with delivery date 2nd of X month, System is creating the sales order without stop.

How is it possible ? Is factory calendar settings not working ?

Please suggest me the possible root causes and fixes for this.

The sales organisation in which I am creating sales order does not have any calendar. Does it have any bear on the issue?

Appreciate any quick response.

Hi,

Maintain Calendar for the sales organization to get impact in sales order

Goto OVX5 , choose your sales organization,

click on details,

Detailed information tab - Sales Org Calendar (maintain your factory calendar)

Thank you for the response.

Me also want to test " Assigning the calendar to the sales org" but I have 2 questions.

  1. If, I assign the the holiday calendar to sales org along with plan, and create a sales order in those holidays, what happens ?

  1. If I do, Holiday calendar assignment only to the plant not to the sales org , What happens ?? In which of these two cases, system stops from creating delivery ?

Please be detailed to explain how system responds in the above two scenarios.

Your inputs will help me to decide on the next course of action.

It should have impact on billing documents,have u checked it ?

If u assigned factory calender to plant,Check whether u assigned respective factory id to invoicing dates of billing documents tab in sales area tab of customer master.
