In our scenarios client's legacy systems want to use Web Services.
ECC 6.0 -> PI 7.1 -> 3rd party Legacy (Web Service)
Can we use Direction Connection feature and use WS runtime adapter of PI 7.1 to connect these 2 systems?
Thanks a lot
At present, this mechanism can only fully propagate the configuration data to those back-end systems that are based on AS ABAP.
So it has to be SAP to SAP scenario !!

Hi Chanakya,
>>Direction Connection
I guess you meant Direct connection... Yes you can but there wont be any message mapping feature of PI available in that case.
Check this article
http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/b00bbb77-75bc-2a10-6b9a-a6f8161515a6
as per it
Services such mappings, dynamic receiver determination, ccBPM (as provided by the middleware) are no longer available during the message exchange.
