$ sign in adobe form not displaying properly..

Hi I have inserted 1 decimal field in my adobe form and display pattern of that field I have given as $(zzz,zzz,zzz,zz9.99).

but when i deploy my application and see in the portal, $ sign is not getting displayed properly, its not able to get interpreted properly.

I am using IE 7.0 browser.

please help how to get this issue resolved, do i have to change any browser settings ??

Hello,

First: web browser is not important here, Reader version is what you need to take in count

Second: maybe it is a locale problem? (tab Object - bottom - locale). What is your locale value?

And... you didn´t tell why it is not displayed properly... It is missing? Some other mark?

Hi,

I am using adobe reader 8.0

my locale is: default locale, i tried changing this with USA english , but still not luck

i am getting dark small square block instead of dollar sign (dollar sign not able to get interpreted properly)

please help.

That means your font is not working, imho. Change the font, use for example Myriad Pro, that always worked for me. Otto

I changed my locale to : viewer's system locale. Now dollar sign is coming properly.

my problem solved.
