Transfer posting with mov type 458 through MB1B

Dear all,

While doing a transfer posting with mov type 458 through MB1B, following error shows..

Change the inspection stock of material BCH54.3.22.380 in QM only

Message no. QA495

Scenario: - We have Stock in CRET...22 (in Quality Inspection)..we want to post it to Returns. When we are posting through MB1B, above given problem raise.

Hi,

If you maintained Quality managament view for the material , you need to clear the lot through QM inspection only,

check whether the lot is created for the material. and do clear by UD or mannual inspection in QA32.

you cannot use the MB1B to posting change for the inspection of the qm managed materials.

From where we can clear the lot through QM inspection only and Lot is already created for the material.

Why we cann't use the MB1B???

Hi

If lot is created then Go to QA32>Usage decision?enter UD code-->do stock posting.

You can not clear a material theough stock posting screen in Inventory mgt if lot is alreay been created & stock is in QI.

This is as per std SAP

R1..............OK material..................................................Accepted

R2..............Accepted after rework(vendor).................Accepted

R3..............Accepted after rework(inhouse)................Accepted

R400..........Rejected to own scrap................................Rejected

R5..............To be returned to vendor.............................Rejected

R6..............To be returned to previous shop.................Rejected

These 6 options are in QA32 - usage decision for Inspection lot. which option we have select to post the material on Returns column.

If you want to put in to unrestricted then use : R1..............OK material..................................................Accepted

If you want to do return delivery then use : R6..............To be returned to previous shop.................Rejected

we need to post the material in Returns column in CRET location, pls suggest which option which have to choose among these.

hi,

if you want to return fto the vendor , you can use this code :

R5..............To be returned to vendor.............................Rejected

or

if you need to return the stock to the quality stock to the last shop

R6..............To be returned to previous shop.................Rejected

and make sure that you hae assign the catalog and code in qs51.

so you can do the UD for the movement types.

That depends on you what UD code you want to use. You can choose any one of them and in the next tab inspection stock posting post the material to unrestricted
