Hi Gurus,

Can we have the functionality in sourcing for multi PO creation as:

1) if a SC is created of 2 line itmes , can we create multiple Po's (1line item per PO at a time).

2) Also if a SC is created for 10000, can we create two Po's of 5000 each.

I tried in my ex classic and not able to.

Is there any setting needs to be done for that.

also sunil informed you on PO spliting criteria,

you give two different vendor for two items it will create a two POs.

1 vendor -1 po

2 vendor -1 po

We can split the multiple PO's when the below parameters are different:

1. Company Code

2. Purchase Org

3. Vendor

4. Plant

5. Procurement Card

I understand this, but my question is , as a buyer can i have the flexibility of creating PO only for Partial SC .

For Ex. If a SC is created for 10 or of 2 line item with same data (, plant, p org etc), Is it possible to create PO for only 1 item or of 5 and is the SC is still be in for sorcing to be sourced for another PO for the rest qty/line item?

Hello Indu,

Yes, you can.

Even if your SC has several items, you have to select items you want to transfer into the work area.

Regarding SC item quantity, when being in the work area, i think (don't have SRM screens in front of me...) you can change it. So, you should be able to create as many PO items as you want for one SC item, depending on quantity.
