error " Material was not under warehouse" at the time of Gr

Hi Gurus

I had created storage loc 2222 under plant 1000 and created 222 warehose (copying 001) and assigned to soage loc.

Maintained Material master with WM 1 & 2 views

Then create PO --> At the time of doing Gr system is throwing error..."Material was not with Warehouse 001"

In actual the material was extended to 222 warehouse

why system is giving error that the material was not under 001 warehouse

where i did mistake in settings?? please assist

Hi Subbu

Please check the congif setting once again and check weather S'Loc and Plant is assigned to Warehouse No. 222 as you copied form 001.

Warehouse management is determined with the combination of two

organizational units.

Plant and Storage location combination determines the warehouse management for

the both process, i.e. Goods receipt and Goods issue.

Hi Subbu,

As per the error message, it is trying to place the material in the warehouse 001,

check the input parameter in the PO which plant and Storage location combination is mentioned there also

Check whether the plant & storage location is assigned to warehouse 222 or 001
