Issue with output date format on CLFMAS02

I have 3 output syndication maps which all are copies of the standard CLFMAS02 output map.

All 3 of them have 1 field in common. There is an Update date (format timestamp) in the data repository which is mapped to text field in the output map. All 3 maps are pulling the same field from the data repository.

The map properties all have date format set to YYYYMMDD.

One of these maps is outputting the data correctly in YYYYMMDD format.

The other 2 maps are not outputting the date correctly, they are coming out in MM/DD/YYYY format, so the IDOC on the R/3 side is erroring out.

Help please... it would be much appreciated.

This is strange, if you have set map properties correctly then it should work.. just give a try by deleting 2 maps which are not working, and then recreating them using map which is working. (if all 3 are same)..

It seems the date formatting issue is related to the field being a timestamp, not a date. The reason the one map was working correctly is that there was a style sheet attached to the map in XI, and that was reformatting the date, so it was not obvious. The other 2 maps did not have this style sheet attached. Once that was done the data flowed correctly.

Hi Joyce,

Please check again the date format is saved against the same map and same remote system. Sometimes we check the map but mistake with the remote system.
