How does SLD know the server is running JAVA?

Java was running on the server but I removed it according to SAP guidelines. ABAP is still running. I deleted the Java entry for the server from the SLD.

When the standard batch jobs runs to update the SLD a java entry reappears for this server in the SLD.

The Java entry in the SLD does not have any data (for example: there is no information about the installed products).

This makes sense because I removed Java from the system. What is causing this useless entry to appear in the SLD? How do I stop this?

Iqbal,

Where is the SLD located , is this local to the system or a remote SLD .

Where exactly you see the java entries?

It's a remote system (BW) and it shows the systems having Java.

You may have entry in solman (SMSY) which is sending data to SLD

So you need to clear data in solution manager so it does not send data related to deleted system to SLD

Hi

You need remove the configuration that supplies Java details to SLD.

If you are using Old version, ensure you removed all entries under SLD Supplier-> Runtime Tab->HTTP Settings

On latest version (NW 2004s)

Logon NWA

Choose Configuration Management-> Security Management -> Destinations

Remove/Delete a destination of type HTTP and with name SLD_DataSupplier details

Sekhar,

Just see whether their is another SLD with the old entry which is synchronizing with the SLD that you are looking into.

Go to SLD -> administration-> synchronization /Data supplier and see where the SLD Is getting its data from .
