Subsitution Chain

Hi,

I have a requirement on article substitution where if Article A is superceded with Article B and article B is superceded with Article C. So, if customer orders article A, system should automatically substitute to article C.

One solution is to maintain Subsitution between A & C also. Is there any other way to reach the same result?

Hi,

It is not available, when u maintaining material determination record,

U speciefied material entered and substitute material

Suppose u enter A and for this substitute is B

again u enter B and for this substitute is C

BUT WHEN U CREATE SALES ORDER THAT TIME U ENTERING EITHER A or B

if u enter A it will replace with B

if B then C

System will not propose INDIRECTLY A to C
