Sapscipt element not found

Hello

I have a question regarding the declared elements in the main window.I have declared an element in main window and tried to call it from my report.The problem is that it i get an error stating that the "element XXX is not defined for main window",eventhough the element is there

I call it like this

call function "write_form"

exporting

element = 'XXX'

window = 'MAIN'.

any clues?

Is element defined in the right language version of sapscript?

Yes,you where wright,it was calling the form with language english eventhough i have issued the message with another language,how is this possible.

the output language will guide which language of script to call... make sure you are using NAST-spras rather than sy-langu or any hardcoded language.

It is strange because i use another language when issuing message and still nast-spras has always language E and i do not know why.In my report i do not overwrite nast-spras.Is there any place in NACE where you can set output language?
