Hi everybody,

our admins won't give the sap_all for the RFC-PI user that connects to R/3.

Which role should we give at least?

Thanks

Hi,

two things:

technical IDOC access:

SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER

SAP_BC_MID_ALE_IDOC_ADMIN

module access:

for this you need to know which things is this user going to execute (like which transaction)

and add those auth for this user - there is no general access here

Hi Michal,

as I never came into contact with authorations, role etc.

Is there anything else neccessary for the RFC-Connection?

Regards

Hi,

probably you need to learn how to use the trace for authorization in order to find out which

roles you need to add for modules as not giving SAP_all usually ends up with many auth errors in IDOC processing

so this can speed up your error solving

nothing more is necessary I guess
