Hi guys,
I have been facing a problem as the messages are not moving into PI from the ERP.
could you guys suggest me how to go about this??
Please help.
Regards,
shwetha
Apart from maintaining a proper RFC destination,
1) can you confirm that you can see the PROXY in the corresponding ECC system under the proper namespace of XI/ PI
2) Is the proxy activated
3) I hope no user is locked...even in this case you wont get any message into XI.

Abhishek.

You can do the RFC destination Test using the Transaction Code SM59.Select ABAP ConnectionsThen Select the RFC destination you are using and finally click on Connection Test Button.
Using which adapter are you sending the data from ERP to PI?Is it Idoc or RFC..

Hi Swetha,
U r Scenario is
Proxy->PI->Web services
First u have to check these steps given in the URL
/people/vijaya.kumari2/blog/2006/01/26/how-do-you-activate-abap-proxies
Then u will check in queues.
Go to SMQ@ and check whether any jobs are struck in the queues.
And also check RFC destination created in the Type H.
Thanks
Ravi

Do not delete messages in Prod box without necessary information. If they are your messages, then you should be able to see an error message corresponding to it. Also check in st22 of the ECC system for ECC dumps which will guide you further about the error. Consider reprocessing the messages before any deletions.
Hi,
I have checked for the dumps in st22 and i didn find anythin related to my interface.
I also checked in ECC system smq1 and smq2 and sxmb_moni the message which is posted from ECC is not displayed in any of these also.
So what can be the problem??? This scenario involves RFC just to remind you.
I dont find it a PI issue. But is there anythin i need to change in PI system????
You mentioned that theer is no entry in the ssending system also....so it is quite obvious that no message would have come to XI/ PI....BPM may not be at fault here....are you sure that the RFC is actually executed successfully...had it been then something should have been recorded in SXMB_MONI of the sender system.
Regards,
Abhishek.
I would say BPM is not at fault....as there is nothing in the sender system itself, XI/ PI (or BPM) wont receive anything....better take help from an ABAPer and check if the FM is working properly.....is there any other RFC (Sender) scenario in your project...check if it is working fine....if yes then the particular FM is to be checked.
Regards,
Abhishek.
1. Check if the messaage is stuck in SM58 of ERP system.
2. Check if you are using the right RFC destination pointing to PI system in the port you are using to transfer the data.
3. Check if the RFC destination is configured correctly, do an connection test and authorization test of the the RFC destination and confirm this.
