SAP BACKUP DB13

I'm doing backup through db13 i have scheduled backup for one week which is placing backup in sapbackup directory on hard disk for everyday , can i specify different directories for backup for whole week ??

I don't think it is possible for a regular backup...as every time you may need to change with backup parameters.

Try to take daily backup in one directory and take help from your OS support team to move that backup into device(tape) and free up the space.

then follow my earlier reply..

Just take your daily backup in same place...ask your OS support team to move that backup into device(tape) and free-up the space for next backup(this can be done automatically by scripting)

Sure, you can specify different directories.

But how about space in your disk?

Thnaks for ur reply. Space is available as i move previous day backup on external drive. my OS is solaris 10 x86 db is on oracle
