Enhancing Standard SAP GDS nutrition Repository

Hi ,

I have a requirement to add new fields to Standard SAP GDS nutrition repository. Could you please let me know the proceedure to add new fields to standard repository. I dont have the business content for this repository. Could anyone please share the fields and lookup tables of Standard SAP GDS nutrition repository. Your help would be appreciated.

Hello Nagendra.

Add new field or LUT is very simple but if another user work with repository throuth Data Manager it will be surprize for them.

You shoul do next steps:

1) Load SAP MDM Console

2) Connect to repository

3) Unload repository

4) Add fields, LUTs ets.

5) load repository

or

1) create repository archive

2) expand it on your test sap mdm server

3) do steps 1-5 from previous way

4) test repository with new added fields LUTs ets.

5) create repository schema

6) do 1-3 steps from previous way for destination repository

7) apply schema to destination repository

Hi,

Thank you for your valuable answer. As per my requirement I have to add fields to standard GDS repository.What precautions should I take while adding the fields or just add the fields directly to the repository.

Hello Nagendra.

If you want to add new fields in repository you can do it without problem, but you must remember that you need modify integration scenario too

Of cource you should to made repository archive before make some changes in repository structure.
