Hi All
I think there is some confusion regarding PLM 7.0 suite.
What i understand is ECC 6.0+EHP 4=PLM 7.0 and PLM webgui can be launched from this setup like webdms etc.
Else through portal after the business package installation PLM 7.0 can be used.
So what does a PLM 7.0 license include or mean actually?
Is it PLM webgui extra cost? and Easy DMS and cfolders are free with ECC 6.0 like it was before?
Thanks & Regards

Hi,
first of all, there are no changes to Easy Document Management and cFolders licensing.
PLM 7.0 is, as correctly stated, part of SAP ERP 6.0 Enhancement Package 4.
The new Web Dynpro based UIs for the core PLM objects are considered continuous improvement and therefore have no additional license.
The new license package "Collaborative Product Development" relates to the new "direct collaboration" access control concept, the embedded analytics ("Product Centric View"), and the PLM Object Navigator being offered in addition to the new web UIs of the core PLM objects. Further new capabilities will be added to this license package going forward.
Regards, Ulf.
