HI Friend,
good morning.
my test bo1(X3.1 SP1) con't connect bw1 infocube. but could connect bw Query.
error:
DBD: a run-time exception. (Access to directory $ INFOCUBE multi-dimensional data set out in Error: Unknown error)
I use VMware Workstation (setup windxp system and bo3.1 sp2 server), but bo con't connect bw1 infocube.
error:
DBD: a run-time exception. (Access to directory $ INFOCUBE multi-dimensional data set out in Error: Unknown error)
But BO2 could connect BW(PRD) cube.
BW1 Server had error ?
What is the problem? How to figure out.
Thank you.
Regards,
Howard.

Hi,
did you check for authorizations on the BW side to ensure you have the necessary rights to actually connect to the cube directly ?
Keep in mind that the best practices is to connect to the BW query layer.

Hi Howard
Have you tried to update your BO-server with 2.4, there are better error messages from SAP BW?

Hi
which version of the int.Kit transports did you import in your BW1 system. The ones from XI 3.1 or those from XI 3.1 SP2?
