Shipment Cost

Hi Gurus,

When I am doing shipment in VT01N, delivery is not coming in shipment.

Can you tell me what could be the reason.

Please help me out regarding this.

Can you please check wether route is determined in the sales order or not?

If not can you mainrtain it and check it once

Yes route is not maintaned at sales order level.

I will try to create sales order with route at sales order level.

Hi gurus,

When I am creating Shipment cost in VI01 then message is coming

Transportation planning not carried out for shipment 0020000081

Message no. VY121

Diagnosis

If you want to create a shipment cost document, the shipment must meet the following requirements:

Transporation planning must be completed for this shipment. This means that the shipment must have the status Planned.

The overall status of the shipment must have at least the value specified in the shipment cost type.

The shipment must be relevant for shipment costs calculation. This is indicated with the overall shipment costs calculation status in the shipment header.

A shipment is relevant for shipment costs calculation if the shipment header or at least one of the shipment stages is relevant for shipment costs calculation.

A shipment cost document must not yet exist for this shipment.

Please help me solving this problem.

Delivery come to in shipment when your transportation relevance configuration is proper

IMG >>> Logistics Execution >>> Transportations >>> Shipments >>> Maintain Transportation relevance for DELIVERY TYPE, DELIVERY ITEM CATEGORIES, ROUTES.

U r Process is like this

Sales order >>> Delivery ( save onely) >>> Shipment document(Include deliveries) >>> Shipment cost document >>> PGI >>> Invoice to customer

Thanks for your info.

While doing delivery do I Only save delivery or can I do picking as well afterwards I can do shipment in VT01N.

Without picking I have to do shipment.

Please clarify on this point.

You have to do picking & save the delivery ( w/o peforming PGI).

Because when you save the shipment document , system in background make the PGI , for which picking has to be done. (Assume auto PGI activaetd in activity profiles)

HI,

Did you check might be you have done the PGI check the document flow of the Delivery, if already PGI has been done then also

you can do the shipment.

Follow below steps:

Goto VT01N enter your Transportation Plannig point, select your shipment type and click on Deliveries Tab

1. Enter your Shipping Point/Receiving Point Ex: 1000

2. Remove Total Goods Movement Status: A

3. Remove Transportation Planning Status : A and B

4. Enter Your Delivery No. in Reference to

5. Click on Execute

6. Select your DN and click on Over view button

7. Planing, Check in, Loading start, Loading End, Shipment completion, Shipment start and Shipment end

8. Now Save the shipment
