HTTPS - use of certificate - SLD issue

Former Member

Dear Gurus

I encounter a problem when configuring the root certificate for SAP Netweaver 7.0 Java (used for a GRC AC application).

Some characteristics:

- certificate type = X.509 generated by our own certificate authority and imported in the view SERVICE_SSL

- but our CA server is NOT registered in the default list of key storage (TRUSTEDCAs)

- access to the server via a web browser is OK (https://xxxxx, with port 50001)

- the SLD is a local SLD

- trigger SLD data transfer is NOT successful (error message: unable to open SSL connection to host xxxxxx peer certificate rejected by chainverifier)

- as additional information, importing the default test SAP certificate (from SAP marketplace) is successful.

Do I need to install the SAP Java Cryptographic Library? Or anything else?

Any other idea and comments are welcome!

Thanks in advance for your support

Best regards

RONAN

Hello Ronan,

The problem is that CA of your certificate is not trusted by the client.

You have to add the CA to the trusted CA of the browser or get a certificate from one of the trusted CAu2019s.
