Hi
I am getting problem while using fair share rule B(Percentage of target stock level)
Situation is as below
Plant Stock to Depoly Distrbution center name Stock at DC Stock deployed per DC Target stock level
320 Qty DC1 65 181 300
DC2 140 139 500
If i calculate percentage of target stock per DC then it becomes DC1=82% and DC2=55.8%
The above situation arise when safety stock gets planned in first bucket.
Can anyone help me to understand above behaviour that why I am not getting same percenateg of target stock level here.
Please let me know if there is any calculation for calculating percentage of target stock level.
Can some one answer how this fair share rule B works?
What is the role of Pull deployment horizon and push horizon in fair share rule B?
How it calculates percetange of target stock level?
Thanks
Hrishikesh
Hi All
Our scenario is dependent demand of BOM components consumes Sales order of Finished product.
Please let me know whether its possible ? If yes how could we achieve this?
Thanks

Hi Hrishi,
Please find below an example of the fair share rule for better understanding
Destination location A Dest. Location B
Demand in bucket P1 1000 1600
Available stock 200 600
Target Stck levels (as derived from safety stock levels) 800 1500
Stock required from source 1600 2500
% of target stock before deployment 25 % 40%
Stock available to deploy at production site - 1200 qty
Deployment qty as per fair share rule B 496 704
Available stock after depöloyment 696 1304
% of target stock level after deployment 87% 87%
System will try to deploy the quantities to the demanding location such that post deployment stocks at the respective locations would have the same proportion with the target stock level at the corresponding location in the corresponding buckets.
Let me know if it helps.
Regards
Gaurav

Hi
I have this kind of simple scenario in place which is very well executed in system.
Some time our demand is like beloways
1st bucket-100 second=200 third=300 for One Distibution center
1st bucket-100 second=200 third=300 for second distribution center.
and if deployed quantity from plant is 800 then in this case I am not getting how fair share rule B will work.Which stock it will consider for calculation of target % of stock level?
Thanks for your previous reply
Hrishikesh
Hi Hrishi,
Could you please check the demand condition at the destination locations DC1 and DC2 also. The percentage per destination location is defined as deployment-relevant stock (= stock on hand - SNP stock transfers) divided by the target stock level.
This would mean the calculation would be (Addition of deployed stock + Stock post netting of demand within the pull horizon with existing stock) / Target stock.
Let me know if it helps.

Stock at Plant to Depoly= 320 Qty
Distrbution center name=DC1 and DC2
Stock at DC1 = 65
Stock at DC2 = 140
Stock deployed per DC1=181
Stock deployed per DC2=139
Target stock level at DC1=300
Target stock level at DC2=500
If i calculate percentage of target stock per DC then it becomes DC1=82% and DC2=55.8%
Please let me know anyone knows how to calculate percentage stock level?
