Hi All,

We are working on GRC process control where in we need to access the customized programs and queries which are in ECC from the portal system.

Our requirement is need to create some customized programs and queries in ECC. Then the portal system should access and execute these objects. We have no idea about how the portal syatem will communicate to these customized objects which are in ECC. What needs to be done in the ECC side to acieve this.

It would be helpful if we get any pointers or documentations regarding this.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Jenniifer,

Thanks a lot for your useful informations.

However, we are not able to see our customized Z programs's parameters in the SCRIPT CRITERIA tab of RULE SCRIPT WINDOW. Program works fine in ECC. Now do we need to do any extra coding from ABAP side to make this program to communicate with portal system?

While creating scripts for the customized programs, how can we pass the input values from portal system to ECC? Is it possible to pass input values from portal side or we can run the program only with the help of variants?

Thanks.

Hi Arun,

You could start with the Note 1329589 - Process Control 3.0 - Automated Rule Framework Documentation. In this note, there is a documentation PC_3_0_ARF_Supp_Doc_en.pdf.

Take a look at this documentation first. Basically, you have to have the custom program ready in ECC system. Create a Rule scripts refer to this program. Create a Rule using the Rule Scripts. Assign this Rule to a Control. Then, you could schedule it from Monitoring Scheduler. Then, view the result from Job Monitoring.

You should also check the user guide from the help portal.
