Portal Role to access Manage Business Partner (SRM7)

Hi,

We are unable to find the portal role to access Manage Business Partner for SRM 7.

Strategic Purchaser role has business Partner option where in he can

create

supplier,

Invoicing party,

purchasing company,

location,

RFx Respondent and

portal.

Create Document

Supplier list

Central Functional

Pre-select supplier.

But we are unable to find option to Manage Business Partner like SRM 5.

We would like to transfer the ROS supplier to SRM via Manage Business Partner.

Is there a difference in behaviour when the BP is created through Portal or manually entr the values in table  BBP_LOCMAP by clicking on customizing

we basically wanted to have  same Location Number and BP number like in few cases below we were earlier having the same location number and BP number however soon enough we had difference in this behavior ..so please can some one suggest on what should be the right approach ? Is this the reason for inconsistency ?

You are correct . try wwith admin role

Users with the role SRM Administrator or Strategic Purchaser can manage master data for external business partners (such as company data for suppliers and bidders) and master data for individual contact persons from the company.
