CVC creation

Hi experts,

could u tell one thing, Shall i create CVC's manually in Production system. or

we have done in dev.system then transport to quality then to production system.

Hi NaniKumar,

All the Master data are created directely in production (R/3) environment. As all the transactional data process are happening in production not required to create and transport them from dev to production. In future if CVC created directly from the cube, CVC transport from Dev to production wouldn't work. Creating CVC in production is correct process.

Hi Nanikumar,

You can take the dump of the CVC from development system and upload it as a flat file to MPOS for creation of CVC in your quality and production environment.

In case you are generating CVC from the history data infocube then you can pull in data from R3 to infocubes and run the same variant as developement system for creation of CVC through infocubes.
