ADS Configuration with IDES

Hello ,

We are trying to perform configuration steps for ADS with IDES .

We have installed ADS ( netweaver 7.0 ehp1 java stack )

and now we are trying to configure it ( connect it ) to IDES ( ECC 6.0

EHP4 ), But we are not able to get the expected results , while

performing configuration check in IDES we are getting error

On executing report FP_TEST_00:

ADS: SOAP Runtime Exception: CSoapExceptionTransport :(100101)

On executing report :FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE

System Error : soap runtime exception : CSOAPExecution Transport:HTTP

response contain unexpected content type.

We ahve cretaed the ADS_AGENT, ans ADSUSER users in IDES , also have

created RFC , and done steps relevant to visual admin in ADS . Still

not able to proceed further .

Kindly guide us whetehr we can configure ADS with IDES . and also do we

need some extra settings or steps in this case.

Hi Garima.

We have successfully installed ADS with IDES. We also had some of the issues you are facing. There are several places during the ADS configuration where the password (for the ADS* users) is hard-coded. Make sure these password settings are correct.
