Default client per user/per sapgui ?

Possible to change default client not for all users but for particular user or for particular sap gui installation ?

You can do this activity via set in SAP GUI -Click Shortcuts--> New Item -

>Then Define User and Login Client As per your requirements.

Hello,

One more question:

Sapgui shortcuts are not part of saplogon.ini - so they are separate files somewhere ?

I'm asking because I want to document shortcuts.

You can try to use the Parameter ID P02 (Client in screen for logging on from workstation to host) in the user master to specify a logon client per user, however this often not works (depends on SAP version and kernel).

For the rest there is only the generic profile parameter login/system_client.

With a little programmation in for example Visual Basic you can use the control wdtlog.ocx which is part of the SAPgui installation to specify another client during logon via the control to override the value specified in login/system_client.
