Invoice relevant problem

Former Member

Hi thr,

I have a delivery stuck in VF04 but which shouldn't be billed cause it is a stock tranfer between two plants. The PO was created followed by a delivery (delivery type NL). Could someone please suggest why SAP would have considered this delivery relevant for billing.

What exactly you are expecting from VF04 for STO invoices??

You dont want to appear STO outbound deliveries in VF04 list,

then try with Billing type in default data in VF04 ( make it not equal to F8). then any invoice relevant to pro-forma will not included in VF04 list.

Not only the performa invoice, Might be intercompany billing included also.

Hi

Could someone please suggest why SAP would have considered this delivery
relevant for billing.

If you are talking about PO type UB and delivery type NL then it is intracompant Stock transfer

It is not relevant for commercial billing

Only proforma billing can be used or allowed

Why Proforma?

If this is your doubt then in addition to the suggestions given

One more important reason

If the plant is exciseble then based on the proforma invoice an excise invoice is generated

Hi Swetha,

You can create billing doc using billing type proforma invoice because it is not relevant for accounting so none of the entries are passed to FI. By doing delivery your stock will be updated.

Note: It is only for internal perpose.

Hi,

In STO Proforma invoice is created, which will not be passed to accounting, as rightly said this is just for the sake of information, also this will help in transporting the goods if your plants are geographically situated at different locations.

Thanks.
