R3Setup.bat Error " This platform not supported"

Dear All,

I am trying to install SAP R/3 4.6C On Windows 2003 (x64)server (SQL2000 server with SP4)

When I run the R3setup.bat, I receive an error message on the screen like

"This platform is not supported".

Is it because hardware platform not supported ?

please let me know how to fix this issue?.

Its because software is not supported.

Check with your installation master if it is a 64 Bit software ..

Just an FYI..

4.6c 64 BIT supports only the below version of DB.

SAP KERNEL 4.6C 64-BIT Maintained until 30.09.2000

DB2/400...

OS/400...

INFORMIX...

AIX...

HP-UX...

RELIANT...

TRU64...

ORACLE...

AIX...

HP-UX...

TRU64...
